November 2022 - Value Translator bug

Description

On November 1st, we released version 1.9.3 of Value Translator to production. This version contained a bug that resulted in some of our customers experiencing problems. A temporary fix (1.9.3.3) was released on November 3rd, enabling a workaround and ending the critical stage of the incident.

Value Translator 1.9.4 was released on November 30th, 15:43. This release contained refactoring and error handling of additional scenarios which eliminated the root cause of the incident.

We have established a new operations team, who are not involved in service development. They will take responsibility for release management and will also be responsible for improving the release process and ensuring process compliance.
